I have a large one of these and two smaller ones, after years of use they finally got smooth, and I wanted new ones so I bought them without reservation... Recommended./This is basically a glorified piece of cardboard that serves its purpose no better (in fact, probably worse) than the bare tabletop. Insanely overpriced considering the envelope it shipped in and some Scotch tape by far outperforms it as a mouse pad at a tiny fraction of the cost. The mouse pad is the right size and the surface works well with my cordless electronic mouse. It is just too lightweight to stay in place on a slick surface like my keyboard tray. I use it with a desktop computer. It might be fine on a different surface. Fortunately the Alsop mouse pad I was replacing had a rubber backing that peeled right off and still had enough adhesive to adhere to the new mouse pad.I have to have a mouse pad that has a lot of slide to it! Easier for games and etc.the material is very thin, but very hard plastic. when you put it down on a glass top desk, such as I have, it stays. And I mean Super Glue stays! I have to get a straight-edge screwdriver to pry up the sides to be able to move it, then it has an air pocket and doesn't seat well again. It's just kinda crummy and cheap. So I bought a foam-backed one -- much nicer.I liked it when I first bought it a couple years ago, but now the stickiness has worn off the bottom, and the plastic is curving so it doesn't stay flat on my desk.I have one for travel and one at my desk. I love the slim profile and light weight.Perfect low-profile textured mouse pad - so good I have them in three locations.
