Bought these for derby when I upgraded my pads. They have the sock on them so they soak up a lot of sweat and smell but they don't pinch or shift when I crash. They also have plenty of padding inside,below, and under the cap, protecting more of your elbow. Caps are not removable so cleaning is a little tougher but definitely the most comfortable elbow pads I have owned. They also come in candy colors which is not exactly important, until everyone's mostly black gear gets mixed up.I was slightly disappointed that the sizing was on the small side.The Destroyer website offers the advice "if you take a large kneepad then you'll probably need a large elbow pad".Looks as though I need XL.A bit tight but just about wearable.If I didn't live in the UK then I would probably have returned them for a larger size.Not the same construction as the Pro knee pads either which was a disappointment.Looked great brand new, but started falling apart after a couple weeks...
