I purchased the PIAA windshield prep pad and PIAA wiper refills for my Tacoma OEM blades. I thoroughly cleaned the windshield, applied the PIAA prep pad following it's instructions. Then ran the wipers dry for 5 minutes as recommended by PIAA. There does seem to be some silicone in the prep pad because there was a slight haze that needed to be wiped off 10 minutes after applying the pad. So the PIAA blades are working very well. Smooth, no streaking or chatter.
