These knickers are a much lighter fabric than the blue color in this same style, so they're perfect even in fairly warm weather but still nice for early morning summer rides, or California "winter" late afternoon rides. The fabric is so soft and cozy and they have this little side pocket that I wish all bike pants had. And since it's not that shiny stuff of most bike pants, tops don't tend to ride up as much, which is awesome. They have a good, firm stretch that feels good wearing it, and is flattering as well. The padding is perfect, not too thin not too bulky, nice and flexible. I tend to go for longer rides (my commute is 18 miles one way and I do higher miles on the weekend) and these stay comfy for the long haul.I have the matching jersey, the long tights, and the whole blue version of this outfit, and I keep it in my 'saved for later' cart so I can watch for if the price gets low and pick up an extra pair, I really depend on these Zoic Opulent outfits to keep my commutes pleasant and comfortable.Love Pearl Izumi but these shorts are a miss. The wasteband in the front dips 4 to 5 inches from the back waist. Given that they already sit very low on the hips, this "V" cut looks "cute" and renders them uncomfortable and without any support in front.Nice cycling tights but fabric is much thinner than the Deep Fusion one.I love these tights for riding on days when shorts aren’t warm enough but full tights are overkill. I am usually a medium in most riding bottoms but size small in these fits perfect. I’m 5’4 134 lbs on the curvier side.These are so comfortable and are perfect for mountain biking.There is no padding for riding. These are just leggings.
