This is a really good product, and I think you ought to buy this over the Mercedes Benz brand. I gave it a 4 star mainly because the indentions in the pad weren't the correct shape to fit my engine parts, but this is made for more than one Mercedes. It was also a tiny bit thinner than the old hood pad I had taken off, but Oh well. I really like this because it was cheap, easy to install, fit perfect, and does the job it was intended to do!It’s an ok pad, like the one. I had that lasted 7 years then deteriorated to pieces.Product arrived on time and fit well. I don't recall seeing any directions, however, I followed some suggestions posted on youtube instruction videos. Very pleased with the product. I do recommend you order the Push Type connectors. The previous plastic clips I thought I could re-use. I was wrong. They crumbled as I tried to remove them. Make sure you order new ones when replacing your Hood pad.My husband needed to replace the hood insulation pad in our Mercedes Benz. We looked on Amazon and found this item along with the clips that were also available on Amazon. We ordered both items...had quick delivery and saved a lot of $, since we didn't have to take the car to the Mercedes dealership to have this installed. Everything fit perfectly and my husband recommends this way of purchasing Mercedes Benz parts if you know the correct part number that you need replaced. Both the clips and the hood pad were packaged well, and the delivery was just as promised. Great find!installed as was planned. works fine.Pad fit perfectly and looked just like the original one. I also did go online to find a utube video of how to install it which was helpful. The video also gave good instructions of how to remove the old pad. I also ordered the push pins--turned out I used them but didn't need to as we were able to remove the old ones without breaking them. I also ordered the 3M glue and this, too, was less cost than buying locally.Quality and fit is great. Just make sure you have the 14 clips and the correct adhesive spray.My Mercedes-Benz is 16 years old and every one of similar vintage has the hood pad disintegrate. This works fine and looks great. Be sure to buy the 3M 08090 Super Trim Adhesive and get the push type clips. Others don't work as well. Looks sharp!
