The special cut-back area on this pad is designed so that your horse's shoulders have freedom of movement giving you and your horse a free-flowing, supple movement. The cut-back area is sized so that it relieves the steady pressure on the shoulders that a horse may feel with other pads. By not allowing the saddle bars and rider's weight to press steadily against the horse's shoulders, this pad helps prevent related back, leg, and joint problems.
